How to delete pages from a PDF
- Open your PDF. Drop it onto the box above, or click to choose a file.
- Scroll through the pages. The viewer works like a normal PDF reader — every page is stacked vertically. Scroll up and down to review them.
- Click a page to mark it for deletion. A red overlay appears and the page number appears in the Selected list on the right.
- Click Delete selected pages. The tool builds a new PDF without those pages and offers it as a download.
Nothing is uploaded. The whole process runs on your device.
The layout
- Left panel — file info, mode toggle, range input, and quick-select shortcuts.
- Center — the PDF viewer. Scroll through all pages continuously, just like any PDF reader.
- Right panel — a live list of every page you've marked, the counter, and the Delete button.
Three ways to select pages
1. Click pages in the viewer
Click or tap any page directly in the viewer. It gets a red overlay and appears in the Selected list. Click again to unmark it.
2. Type a range
Use the input field in the left panel. Supported syntax:
5— a single page2, 4, 6— a list5-8— a range1, 3, 10-15, 20— combined
3. Use the quick select buttons
All, None, Invert, Odd, Even, First 3, Last 3.
Keep mode — delete everything except a few pages
The Mode toggle has two options:
- Delete selected — the pages you mark get removed.
- Keep selected — the pages you mark stay, everything else goes.
Zoom controls
Use + and − in the viewer toolbar to zoom in and out. Fit resets to fit the viewer width. Pages always stay inside the viewer — nothing overflows horizontally. On desktop you can also use Ctrl + scroll wheel over the viewer.
What happens to the rest of the document
The pages you keep are copied exactly as they are. Fonts, images, vector drawings, hyperlinks, form fields and bookmarks are preserved byte-for-byte. No re-compression, no quality loss.
Your PDF stays on your device
The whole tool runs in your browser using pdf.js to render the viewer and pdf-lib to write the new file. Nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and the tool works offline once it has loaded.
